Yeah, that would be interesting. A guess off the top of my head, founded on nothing, is that Classics is SUPER male. Like that whole meme about how often men think about the Roman Empire. Something about Rome, in particular, seems to fascinate men, but not very many women (Mary Beard being a notable exception.)
