Well, I hope so. Maybe that's the human story. 98% of us fuck everything up, and we get through because a tiny group of smart people find a way around our species-wide stupidity. If so, I'm not sure I like it. If it wasn't for the prospect of us taking half the world with us, I'd wonder if we deserve to be saved.
