True. I was always guilty of this, and maybe it caused me to hit a lot of life milestones early. Bought an apartment at 26. Published a novel at 27. Started a business at 29. Met my life partner at 23(!).
Now I'm in my forties and there's nowhere left to go. I don't mean that in a negative way. I'm just no longer interested in 'achieving' anything. All I want now is to keep what I have for as long as I can, knowing I'll lose it all one day.
