This is what makes me most afraid about the current political divide. That people will call for silencing dissenting voices, not realizing or not caring that the same rules that muzzle their opponents can easily be used on them.

As a non-American, one of the things I admire most about the US is its near-fanatical belief in free speech. Seeing that under attack is horrifying.
