This is something I absolutely hate about the UK. The sneering condescension, if not outright hate, that is still directed toward working class people. Anytime I here some use the term 'chav', I instantly suspect them.

Class exists in all societies. And everywhere you go, people tend to hate the poor as a reflex mechanism. But the things you point to, the Jeremy Kyles, the Judge Rinders, all remind me of why I left the UK and will never live there again.
