Actually, this didn't make it into the story, but before I launched the kayak, a couple came over and asked if she could sit in the kayak while he took a photo. I helped her get in, and it did make for an amazing photo. But...not real, is it? She didn't paddle anywhere; she was actually quite nervous the whole time.
