Man, can I relate to this. I grew up in the UK, then moved to Canada when I was 20. Initially, I loved it. But I changed, and life changed, and bit by bit, the magic drained away to be replaced by first indifference, then actual hostility.

I moved to France a couple of years ago, at the age of 38. Maybe I'll get sick of it here too. It will change, and so will I, and either you grow together or you grow apart. But right now, I'm so glad I made another move and rolled the dice again.
