I’ve never had a flu vaccine in my life. Not because I’m an anti-vaxxer, but because the risk of flu to me, as a healthy and relatively youngish man, just isn’t that high. I haven’t had so much as a cold in two years.

So ordinarily, I’d wait and see with the Covid vaccine. Or not get it at all. But I can foresee national governments refusing entry to the non-vaccinated. And since I intend to travel, I’d have to comply.

I’m not a fan of that kind of governmental overreach. There’s always a balance to be struck between individual rights and the greater good. Thanks for this food for thought.
