I think these articles work because a lot of people aren’t business minded.

I saw an ad once from some guy selling a real estate photography course. He bragged about making seven figures and having a staff of 16 people. But…it only takes some basic math to see that you need to make AT LEAST seven figures if you have 16 people to pay. If you’re low seven figures, your entire revenue is going on payroll.

Not everyone realizes that. The difference between gross and net is fundamental.
