I think I'm better now than I used to be. But you're right; maybe it's just that my tastes have changed. I think it's better to look back at our old work and think it sucked than to look at it and wonder how we used to be so good. There was a time when I hated everything I had ever written, but that's not true anymore. Although both my style and tastes have changed and I cringe at some of the stuff I published a decade ago, there's some I'm proud of too
