I once ate a a 3 star Michelin restaurant in Paris. It's an experience I recommend to anyone...once. But I don't see myself doing it again.

I like nice things. I love a good whiskey. But that high end stuff has diminishing returns. The difference between a 15 year old Glenfiddich and a plastic handle of Alberta Pure is night and day. But while 30 year old Glenfiddich is better than the 15 year old, it's not by all that much.

Probably a lesson in there somewhere...
