I like the idea of UBI. Whether it works in reality or not is a different question. In a way, the covid pandemic forced governments to provide people with an income, and the result was inflation and the cost of living crisis we have now.

But it depresses me to think of how much human potential we waste doing things that don't need doing just to keep people employed. Feels like there has to be a better way.
