I know exactly what you mean. I’m not worried about myself, safely ensconced in Vancouver with plenty of food and a job that lets me work from home. I’m worried about my dad, over in the UK, with a government that couldn’t make it much clearer that they don’t give a shit whether old people die.

Covid isn’t going to touch me. I’m young and healthy and about as safe from the virus as anyone could be. But I’m self-isolating because I don’t want to be the reason someone’s parent or grandparent or immuno-compromised partner or child dies.
