I hear people keep saying that AI is improving every day. But I see no signs of it. I've been watching it closely for the last eight months or so, and it's still the same garbage it was back then.

Besides, as AI content rapidly becomes a bigger part of what's out there on the internet, it also becomes part of the AI training dataset. Ever seen what happens when AI eats itself? The results are not pretty. Garbage in, worse garbage out.

All AI can do is reassemble what's already there. With no spark of originality, there is no art. There is only a product.

Here's the part I really don't get, though: Why? Creating art is one of life's great pleasures. Why have a machine do it for you? It's like hiring someone to fuck your spouse. I mean, some people probably get off on that. But not me.
