I don't know how old you are, Erwin, but I find part of that is aging. When I was 18, fucking and fighting had a lot more appeal than they do now. Honestly, I welcome this hormonal drop. Young men are halfway to being animals.

There's also the old trope of fighters not having sex too close to a fight in order to keep an aggressive edge. I think you're right about the two being linked in some primal way.
