I almost gave myself whiplash from nodding in agreement as I read this. I am sooo sick of that same bullshit ‘advice’. I am tired beyond belief with short, terse, boring sentences. I am done with everyone trying to sound like the same shitty Hemingway knockoff and treating readers like drooling lobotomites who’ll run screaming from a goddam semicolon.
