Depends what people mean when they talk about it.

If it means decriminalizing drug use and channeling the money spent on enforcing drug laws into addiction treatment and support, then I'm completely for it.

If, on the other hand, it means closing down the police station that was in that neighbourhood, no longer answering emergency calls from the neighborhood, and assigning police to act as bouncers to keep the 'junkies' in their designated few blocks where they won't bother 'regular' people, then I'm against it.
